What is “Logical Thinking”?
論理思考ってなんですか？
“Logical thinking” is the ability to think step-by-step and solve problems systematically.
In the age of AI and programming, this skill is more important than ever. Programming, advanced math, and even games like shogi all rely on logical thinking – considering many possible moves and choosing the best one.
Entrance exams for competitive schools are full of questions that test logical thinking. Children who develop this skill tend to:
・Have strong reasoning and imagination
・Be curious and enjoy exploring new ideas
・Build up their knowledge in a structured way
・Improve their grades as they advance through school
At I-CUBE, children train their logical thinking through math and problem-solving, all in English.
「論理思考」とは、一言でいえば筋道を立てて考える力、地頭を良くする力です。
AIやプログラミングの時代、論理思考はこれまで以上に重要になっています。プログラミングはもちろん、将棋のように何十手も先を読むゲームも、すべて論理思考のトレーニングです。
難関校の入試問題は、そのほとんどが論理思考力を試す問題です。論理思考が身についている子どもは、
・推察力に優れ
・知的好奇心・探求心が強く
・学んだことを体系的に積み上げていく力があり
・学年が上がるほど成績が伸びる
という傾向があります。
